Hello, Movie Buffs!
Its 2073 and humanity is on the breaking point with overpopulation, limited fossil fuels, and global food shortages. A food shortage solution is discovered but the side-effects are worse than expected, multiple births are now more common than ever. As a way to rectify their situation, the Bureau directed by ruthless political activist Nicolette Cayman (Glenn Close) enacts The Child Allocation Act, a global one-child-per-family policy that is strictly enforced with severe consequences for insubordination. So what happens when Terrence Settman (Willem Dafoe) decides to go around the government's decree in a desperate attempt to hide his septuplet grandchildren, the only reminder of his late daughter, Karen Settman. Taught, and raised by their grandfather, the girls are named after each day of the week and will inevitably take turns on their day of the week by assuming the identity of one woman: Karen Settman. Having to debrief every night and only free to be themselves in the prison of their own home, tensions start to rise amongst the sisters. But when Monday doesn’t come home after work, the sisters band together to answer one important question. What happened to Monday? Will the sisters be able to find out what happened to her before it’s too late for the rest of them? Or will Cayman’s lackeys uncover their long kept secret?

Hello, Movie Buffs!
Queen of Scotland at 6 days old, Queen of France at 16, and widowed at 18, Mary Stuart continues to defy the pressures of the world around her. Instead of remarrying, Mary returns to her native Scotland to reclaim her rightful throne from under the rule of Queen Elizabeth I of England and hopefully usher in an era of peace between their two nations. Born of royal blood and separated by their beliefs and religion, each Queen considers the other as her sister and her rival, beholden in fascination and fear. As rivals in power, love, and as reigning Queens in man’s world, both Queens must decide how to play the game and rule as more than just figureheads. Betrayal, rebellion, and conspiracies within each court imperil the sisterhood as well as both thrones, threatening to change the course of history. Directed by Josie Rourke, written by Beau Willimon (Ides of March, House of Cards, The First), and based on the book Queen of Scots: The True Lie of Mary Stuart by John Guy, Mary Queen of Scots (2018) is a dramatic, gritty, and compelling story that showcases tumultuous relationship between two 16th Century Queens and how society always tries to pit them against each other.

Hello, Movie Buffs!
It’s 1304 and Sir. William Wallace has been drawn and quartered, and old Scottish lords are tired of war and have bent the knee to the English Empire. And while England believes that they’ve crushed the rebellion, the younger generation only surrendered reluctantly and to bide their time for an opportunity to strick back. After being crowned King of Scotland, legendary warrior Robert the Bruce (Chris Pine) has been declared an Outlaw by the English Empire and is forced into exile. Rather than go quietly, Robert the Bruce raises an army of Scottish outlaws and uses bravery and cunning tactics to take on a much larger and better-equipped enemy and reclaim the throne. Directed by David Mackenzie (Hell or High Water) and co-written alongside Bathsheba Doran (The Looming Tower) and James MacInnes (Rocket Post), Netflix’s Outlaw King (2019) is a “true to historical events” film that follows an epic journey across the beautiful Scottish landscape and captures heroism at its finest.
